History theme: Native Americans, especially those pertaining to PA history
Monday:
History: Read and discussed Hiawatha by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, The Woman Who Fell From the Sky (The Iroquois Story of Creation) by J. Bierhorst. Read about and prayed for the Iroquois people using the American Indian Prayer Guide by D. Maloof. Independent reading: The Delaware Indians, by S. Bleeker- ch. 2
Math: 10 review problems on multiple operations. Brief lesson on rounding decimals and practice.
Language Arts: Reviewed vocab words for root "foli". Wrote sentences for new vocab words from root word miss/mitt.
Zoology: Reviewed topic of migration and watched video of migrating snow geese.
Tuesday:
History: Read The Delaware Indians by S. Bleeker- ch. 3-4 and provide oral narration
Math: Continue to review rounding decimals and complete various word problems and review problems
